Or they'd just assume there's more to their relationship than friendship, or warden and inmate. It wouldn't be the first time people got a little.. too involved with their inmate, after all. "It might make walking around a bit easier at least. Less tripping over me."
He gets in the way sometimes! "... You've met Lahabrea, right? I can't imagine he's going to be fond of something so .. 'intimate' as even a held hand. He won't flip out about it, he's too aloof for that but I bet he's squirming."
